Inspiration from a small wildfire...

Being as random as I am, this blog post will be a combo of photography on a personal level and a look back at my last session of 2016. And if you follow my Facebook page, you got a little snippet of my thoughts.

Let me introduce you to the "wildfire"

Such an amazingly talented little woman.

Such an amazingly talented little woman.

Miss C!

I remember meeting this wonderful girl when she was an infant. She may have not had hair just yet but she had the ginger attitude. After a few years, her parents contacted me for a family session at Lido Beach. I was just a beginner when it came to the photography business. I had little style and very little direction. (God help my first clients)

I have loved watching her grow into such a smart, hilarious and beautiful girl.

Now at the end of the session, she was finally free to enjoy the beach! The joy and happiness I wanted to capture during the session finally revealed itself, when her toes sank into the sand as she ran. When the waves crashed into her, wetting her completely (in November, mind you). The images from those pure moments, were by far my favorite at that moment. I knew then, that my focus would be real and authentic images. So if that meant, corny jokes, silly sounds, jumping around and getting personal just to get my clients to open up to me, then thats what I would do.

Miss C has now become an up and coming model in the South Tampa area. She takes direction beautifully while letting loose when need be.

Miss C sparked that fire in 2014 and she re ignited it in December 2016. I cannot wait to develop my art even more in 2017.

Next blog post will even more personal. Stay tuned!

Cheers!
